Allergies & food sensitivities
Testing is based on the detection of antibodies (IgE, IgG, IgA) in the blood:
Inhalant panel for detection of seasonal and environmental allergies & sensitivities.
Food sensitivity test: tests your reaction to 96 commonly consumed foods. Food sensitivities underly many common health concerns, including digestive, mental/ cognitive, skin and immune problems.
Gluten sensitivity testing.
Salivary and urine hormone testing provides great insight into whether excess or deficient hormones are an underlying cause of your health concerns. We offer the following panels:
Adrenal panel (assesses the extend to which stress contributes to your symptoms through a 4-point cortisol test)
Male & female hormone panels
Serum thyroid panel to evaluate metabolic dysregulation
Snapshot: a 14-gene overview of your unique genomic makeup. Provides insights into 5 key areas of wellness: Mood and Personality traits, Cardiovascular health, Metabolic Profile, Body Composition, Detoxification Pathways.
Methylation and MTHFR
Essential mineral levels: essential means they are needed to maintain health. For example, potassium and sodium are essential for proper heart function, while calcium and magnesium are essential for bone development.
Toxic Minerals (heavy metals): cause damage by taking the place of essential minerals and interfering with their usual function. For example, calcium helps strengthen bone, but lead can take the place of calcium in bone, making bone more porous and less sturdy.
Other toxic chemicals: Phthalates (used in plastics), parabens (chemical preservatives e.g. in cosmetics) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) (air borne particles that contribute to poor air quality and smog).
